Kurt Wassink joined HR Solutions Group in mid-November 2018. Kurt is a West Michigan native who graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.A. and M.B.A. Prior to joining HR Solutions Group, Kurt celebrated 23 years of service with Gentex Corporation. During his time at Gentex, he served in a variety of roles, in which the last four years he served as the VP of Human Resources. Kurt brings global best practices and extensive HR knowledge to our valued clients, which includes a vast variety of industries including for-profit, non-profits, social services, and healthcare organizations. Kurt brings a wealth of experience on how to effectively build and scale a company through tremendous growth. As an HR Executive at the firm, he collaborates with companies as an Executive Advisor to walk along organizations and focus on the strategic priorities, competitive practices, and people development.

Kurt currently serves as a Board Member for the Ottawa County Compensation Commission and the Boys and Girls Club of Holland, MI. He is also a current Executive Team Board Member at the Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital. Graham Wright

With over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Graham Wright has a wide range of experiences in practice operations and revenue cycle management, with a deep expertise in a diverse set of functional roles within a medical practice. 

Graham spent eight years working as a Practice Administrator at a Pediatric Clinic and contributed to the practice’s growth from a two-provider office at one location to 20 providers across five locations. Graham attributes the practice’s success to the use of the suite of solutions the practice implemented from Allscripts.  

Graham eventually joined Allscripts as an EHR Implementation Specialist and has now served as an Expert Field Sales Executive for the past 15 years. He is passionate about helping clients thrive and to maintain their ability to practice independently and to help cater their practice to the needs of patients. Graham focuses on optimizing client revenue, reducing costs and increasing patient satisfaction. 

Representative Christine Morse

Michigan State Representative

House District 61

State Rep. Christine Morse is serving her first term representing the 61st District of Michigan which encompasses the City of Portage as well as the Townships of Oshtemo, Prairie Ronde, Schoolcraft and Texas Twp. She is a former Kalamazoo County Commissioner, former attorney, cancer survivor and mom of three.

Morse graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Political Science/Pre-law. During her time in Lansing, she interned with Lt. Governor Connie Binsfeld. She continued her education at Wayne State University Law School from which she graduated in 1998. She has practiced law in both Michigan and California. 

For eleven years Christine and her family traveled the country and world while her husband served in the United States Navy. In 2010, Morse and her family settled in Kalamazoo where she has survived breast cancer, raised her children and has been an active community volunteer.

Seeing a need for transparent and accessible leadership in her community, Morse ran for Kalamazoo County Commission in 2018. She served on the County Commission from 2018-2020. Local governing experience highlighted the need for true representation at the State level, so Morse ran to be a leader who listens to her community. Morse is committed to improving our investment in education, ensuring access to healthcare, both physical and mental, and protecting our water/environment.

Representative John Roth

Michigan State Representative
House District 104

John Roth is the former chair of the Grand Traverse County Republican Party and six-year member of the county’s Parks and Recreation Commission. Roth moved to Grand Traverse County in 1987 with his wife of 32 years, a nurse at the local hospital. The couple has two teenage daughters.

Roth runs a marina and does lawn maintenance at a local country club in the summer. In the winter, he works at a ski house. Roth graduated with a degree in marina management from Northwestern Michigan College.

Kelsey Haag, MPH

Associate Director, Government Affairs

Kelsey serves as an Associate Director for MGMA’s Government Affairs office in Washington, DC. In her primary role, she provides insight and analysis on a variety of legislative and regulatory issues important to medical groups, such as Medicare reimbursement, surprise billing, and the Quality Payment Program. In this role, she informs policy makers in Congress and the Administration of the important role group medical practices play in the healthcare system and works closely with MGMA members identifying critical issues impacting group practices.

Before joining MGMA, Kelsey was a Policy Consultant at McDermottPlus Consulting, a healthcare consulting group serving clients in Washington, DC. In her role there, she supported applications through the AMA CPT® and RUC processes, provided data analytics supporting client advocacy issues, and analyzed federal physician payment issues.

Kelsey holds a Master of Public Health with a Health Policy and Management focus from The George Washington University and bachelor's degrees in Public Health and Psychology from the University of California, San Diego.

Dr. Leah Davis, DO

Musculoskeletal Radiologist

Leah Davis, DO is a musculoskeletal radiologist currently working in Traverse City. She has clinical experience in both private practice and academic radiology, having previously worked at the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed residency in a consortium program between Henry Ford Health System and Michigan State University, followed by fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. 

Dr. Davis is passionate about providing and preserving high quality patient care in our State. She is active in local and state advocacy, serving as the co-chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee of the Michigan Radiological Society and a member of the Legislation and Regulations Committee of the Michigan State Medical Society. On a national level, she is a member of the American College of Radiology and Physicians for Patient Protection as well as multiple specialty and subspecialty radiology societies.

Greg Hubers is currently the Benzie County Undersheriff. He was appointed Undersheriff in the fall of 2019 and has served under former Sheriff Ted Schendel and current Sheriff Kyle Rosa. Greg retired from the Michigan State Police (1993-2018) as a Detective in the Internet Crimes Against children (ICAC) task force. He served at the Grandhaven, Detroit, Gladwin, Westbranch, Hastings and Manistee posts. Greg is also a certified CRASE instructor through Texas A&M.
